Should we be upset that the States are using their respective firearms and weaponry to kill what amounts to about 4 or 5 million light brown people in Iraq and Afghanistan? What is the greater wrong? That they are using the guns, or that the guns have bible references on them?

This is not a holy war, the war in Palestine is a holy war. Scripture on the scope does not a holy war make.

You guys go ahead and be offended that the people that make the scopes are Christian, I will maintain my long standing offense against the ENTIRETY of the war effort, not just some seemingly innocuous detail.

Pippy I am against this war from the beginning what pisses me off about the bible quotes on the scopes is that it's just another way of shoveling that religious crap down our throats. A christian soldier might not know it's there and one day make the connection and think that when he looks up the texts that it's a sign from god. Hell, he might even start speaking in tongues and dancing around the barracks in religious ecstasy, now we can't have any of that now can we?

Religion is a good way to fool the masses that you're fighting for good and that the right is on your side. What was the quote? from Wellington was it (?) about this being the best motivation for fooling soldiers.

Those in power have leveraged mass superstition throughout history.
