I'd wager that, at least, most of the objections that ID'ers find against evolution have been mentioned in the final chapter of some evolutionist's paper with the extra qualifiers of "more research is required", or "it could have been like this, but further research is required", or "there's no available evidence regarding this subject, so it's best to withhold judgment".
I've argued with Stat, around here, and he kept bringing forth the most ludicrous arguments against evolution and old Earth... The one I remember best, for the sheer irony, was the moon's orbit which is becoming larger at a rate of a few centimeters per year, working that rate backwards would put the moon departing from the surface of the Earth a mere billion years ago, so the Earth couldn't be older than that, as science claims.... so, Mr ID'er and YEC, is the planet about a billion years old? or is it, as you claim, about 6 thousand? There's a hell of a hole in there!
Of course, further research into the subject reveals that the moons orbit increases due to the tides on Earth... no tides, as would happen in an Ice age, and the orbit decreases.
Back to putting ID in the science class room, why would you give any credence to a notion that has no scientific backing?
It's called "science class" for a reason.
