I know, you saw it on the X-Files movie. You know, the part where the bees are being prepared to go out and pollinate the corn.

(we found that scene hysterical here in Iowa, everyone in my area knows bees don't pollinate corn)

In Ohio we have our fair share of corn fields. We laughed at that scene too. We've long known that corn is pollinated by the government. That's Hollywood.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

It comes from the French and means - a mole or a spy with a long term engagement in a government.
The weird suit jacket and tie could only have been subliminal messages to his fellow Muslims.
Nothing else makes any sense.

What kind of world do you live in, where that is the best way to convey any type of information? Are you just this vague and layered in your communications, and so you assume everyone else is too?

"So did you make reservations at that restaurant?"

"What are you, blind?! I am wearing a salmon colored hat, it's Tuesday, and I'm holding a left handed leather glove with the thumb cut off! How much more clearly do I need to say it?"

Actually I did get a call from work.
I was feeling better so I went in.
After reading these posts, I am doing even better.
Rythm, thanks- good stuff.
The rest of you guys, thanks too- you always brighten my day with laughter.

There are times (quite a few) when I ask myself, "What am I doing here on AF"?
It's like jumping into cold water- and at my age- I don't.
Then once I get in here, the abuse (should I use the word-"Correction"?) I receive takes me back in time to my earlier years and makes me feel right at home.

Do I guess, in a perverted way you guys are saying you like me?
Or am I wrong again?

Why do you even care? You think you're going to be raptured in a few weeks anyway. Thinking

You and Jonathan should see if you can get a reduced rate if you visit the same therapist.

Bahaha. I'm crying.

"Yes, I am a Free Lover. I have an inalienable, constitutional and natural right to love whom I may, to love as long or as short a period as I can; to change that love every day if I please, and with that right neither you nor any law you can frame have any right to interfere. And I have the further right to demand a free and unrestricted exercise of that right, and it is your duty not only to accord it, but as a community, to see I am protected in it. I trust that I am fully understood, for I mean just that, and nothing else."
