I loved Deathproof AFTER the talky talky part at the beginning, much like I liked From Dusk 'Till Dawn BEFORE the vampire crap. Sometimes stuff that Quentin is involved with is exactly half good. The Long Kiss Goodnight had a similar schism; it was like two movies shuffled together. Oh, and Planet Terror is pure win which might have cast Deathproof, artificially, in a good light.
