Cortana vs Siri
I am a super big halo fan, and have been since I stood in line and bought the first Xbox with halo combat evolved what 15 years ago? Out of that love and devotion for a story line is the AI cortana. And holy crap the steve jobs they have in marketing at Microsoft decided to use Jen Taylor aka cortana voice as their new personal assistant on the new windows enabled phone.

The question I have now is, has anyone made the switch from Siri to cortana. I use Siri maybe 20 times aday, and don't want to give up middle of the road semi reliable for a rampant AI. (Halo joke)Big Grin

Oh, and is anyone else considering the AI chip/interface surgery in the back of the head to up load cortana in the future as per the Spartan II specs?

Siri is a worthless piece of shit, the biggest failure associated with the IOS. Can't imagine why Tim cook hasn't hanged himself in shame. If it can't get interpretation of spoken question right the first time, it's not even smart enough to try a different interpretation if asked the same question a second time immediately afterwards. It is hard imagine how anything can have the room to be worse.

Now with the Windows 10 announcement, the big advantage that Cortana will have over Siri is platform availability. Apple has stalled over even getting Siri to the Mac, and by that time Cortana will probably have been the killer app for Windows 10 for a while yet, and possibly could have come to iOS, Android, and Xbox One (reviving interest in the Kinect).
