But..again, this is about NDE's, not life after death. And all the conclusions say is that it would be interesting to investigate further, which makes sense as near death experiences deal with the brain under gargantuan amounts of stress and often with compromised oxygen flow, which is something we don't really understand very well yet.

Well, the study would be interesting to read as it might describe why our brains do certain things under these types of stresses, like why we tend to go for memories of family members or (CONVENIENTLY) see icons and figures from the religion of which we happen to be a part. Investigation-wise, this shit could be really cool, it just bugs me that non-scientist, agenda-driven religious people are trying to use this as some sort of justification for their belief in an afterlife, when the study itself has absolutely nothing to do with that whatsoever, in any way.

Well as I said I'm an atheist, and any science that discovers "life after death" will just be more science... not religion !
I'm intrigued though, how the chicken with it's head removed can run a half marathon quicker than Mo Farah!
