I mean really. What excitement would there be, being an atheist if we were all atheists? Who would we make fun of? Fucking agnostics? What would we discuss on this board? I like the idea that there are people out there who think the Flintstones is a documentary. I just want to break out the popcorn and be entertained. It is fun being a smug atheist, laughing at my fellow human being who max out on the gullible scale.
The fact is I do want to hear about Jesus. Yes, tell me about Joseph Smith. Watch Tower? Sure I 'll take one. Want some popcorn? "What you see as a problem I see as an oppurtunity."- Steve Martin, "My Blue Heaven"

I think Joseph Smith was a real visionary, actually, and that's saying nothing about the size of his balls (but they were huge). I mean, to try a stunt like his? That takes some real guts. And he pulled it off! Brilliant!

Although, of course, a lot of his success had to do with the fact that he was living in a time and place where few people were educated.
Yes. I do geneaology research. The 5 people who testified to having seen the gold tablets were all Mennonite brothers, who wouldn't know shit from shinola.
