I still hold my view in regards to the relief people would get if they replaced their drug consumptions with maijuana.
Professional help is already using it as an anti-depressant, soon enough it will be prescribed to patients. The herb is a medicine more than a drug.

Actually, the governmental propaganda pulverized the reputation of weed so alcohol+tobacco find somebody who buys them, until now the worst drugs I saw are these; compare the medicinal features and you'll know.

It depends on why the person is using the marijuana as to whether it's a medical drug or simply abuse. I smoked marijuana regularly for quite a while, and I didn't do so for the health benefits. Now that I'm in recovery, I'd rather address those feelings which make me so uncomfortable that I regard intoxication as a rational response to reality. One size does not fit all, and if you don't agree that's fine. But I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending any drug use to someone who just came off a suicidal bender.
I've said more than I'm comfortable saying given the context of this discussion, so I'm going to make this my last comment regarding drug/alcohol use.
Stimmy, I hope you're getting what help you needs to deal with the feelings which so obviously cut bone-deep. Much love, brotha.

Hi guys, just wanted to pop in and let you know I'm still here, just not ready to jump back into the game quite as yet. I have been checking in once or twice, replied to PMs and did a little light work behind the scenes, and I'm messaging some of you outside the forum as well. So yeah, I'm around in the shadows, I'm doing as well as I might expect, and similar clichés.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
