I also think it's changed a lot in the six years I've been coming around. But to me it seems to have become less cliquey as well as less juvenile in a lord of the flies kind of way. I mean, we still have lots of humor and silliness but I think we are generally more civil and less mean, especially to the theists.

Do you think so? I think we had a lot of total nutcases who were mean as hell, but I never saw the clique-y behavior. I remember we had that feminist leave because people were allowed to say things that were sexist. Then there was that chick that made crazy, ridiculous threads about the amazing things she did in her life and her super-advanced children. Come to think of it, she may have had a small clique. I'm probably just remembering it wrong. I do, however, remember having more conversations that weren't meta or about people's feelings and whatnot. Maybe it's a good thing it's gone that way. Beats me.

Gosh, it may just be that the forums are big like an elephant. You had hold of one part, I had another. I've certainly never read all the posts or gotten to know all the members well.

I'm not recalling the feminist or the uber mom, but there may be another, entirely personal reason for that given all I've asked my neurons to do over the years.

Probably. We all have what stands out to us. Maybe I just didn't notice this shit before. I don't particularly mind it. It's not like they've "gone downhill" or anything hyperbolic like that. It just feels different.

What do you think has changed shell? Just curious.

I think it's become much more meta and clique-y, though that seems to have died down since the first month I came back. It was straight ridiculous in here. There's a lot of mollycoddling too, but it's hard not to do that when you have people being very vocal about how much they want to be mollycoddled.

Yeah a lot of the clique-yness died down after you came back. It was also a reason why I wanted to leave permanently at one point as there was nothing but drama.

It was Eilonwwy IMO. Someguy called her bullshit out and then a ragequit. She was admin at the time, so I dunno if someone happened out of sight.

The other I don't recall her name. But in that famous april fools prank, she greatly got butthurt about Shell's part of the prank. Lol alot of people did. I remember Napo kicking and screaming, swearing for revenge on the old mibbit chat channel.
