I love this forum. I've met so many fascinating people, learned and shared so much, and had great fun. I wish everyone the very best for the future and some people a lot more.
Hope you get things sorted out, Ben. Take care of business.
Good luck.

My two cents in case you come back and read this:
You've been a valuable member here for years. You make good contributions. Hell, your posts actually contribute to discussions, while mine don't really. I told you once when I repped you that when I saw Ben Davis posted in a thread, I'd go in there to check it out. So there's that.
Drama will always happen in online interaction when friendships are made and people share more about themselves openly. It's natural. When a situation happens that causes having to talk something out, coming to an agreement or not, maybe things getting awkward for a bit... it doesn't mean all is fucked. It just means it got a bit awkward. Not a big deal if the people involved learned from it. I think, as someone who fucks up all the time, that sometimes we are harder on ourselves than those who we feel are upset at us. If you have been told everything is ok and have shaken hands, then just let the awkwardness pass and you're good to go.
I mean... I don't think things could merit you leaving AF. I just wanted to put that out there in case it helps. I hope all goes well for you. Maybe you'll change your mind, but if you don't, I suspect that things aren't as bad as you think around here and that nobody was wanting you to leave.

Ben, no. You can't go. I need my regular biscuit supply and I genuinely enjoy your posts, and--like ivy said--if u post, I listen
Sure as hell can't say that for everyone here lol
Anyways feel better, I hope you aren't gone long, if at all, and know that I myself constantly question whether I should be here on this forum posting. There's a lot of history and memories and yeah relationships built or destroyed but in the end, we are all just people here of like minds making up a community of very differing opinions! I think as a whole, we make something worthwhile.
As introverts, as I suspect you are like myself, I can certainly say that if you feel an overwhelming feeling of being ostracized--usually that's not based on much more of anything besides our insecurities. It's hard, I know. If u need someone to talk to feel free to PM me!
Anyways you're stuck here and you're not allowed to go! Everyone will know of the epic Tea & Biscuits Man and miss you when we call upon you! So don't go far, please?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Maybe it happened in PMs? I sure never saw it.

Um, I'm back.
Shit's been going down here, my depression came back with a vengeance, got into a little bit of trouble with the boys in blue, but only once this time and the judge was lenient because I wore a suit. True story.
I think I've got things under control and have done for a while now but I needed a break from the internet and people and anger.
I'm sure someone missed me but that's not what I was thinking at the time.
These chemical inbalances, you can't even smart think them away even when you you've been through it all before.
I did recognise it's appearance but I got back on the good drugs a little late and the doc seems to think I should stay on them permanently and probably should never have gone off them but I thought I was strong enough and it turns out that's not what it's all about.
Anyway, how's everyone doing? Good, I hope. :-)

I've been wondering what sort of mischief have you been up to lately...
Look after yourself first man, then your girl. If you're no good, how can you be the best for her?
Sorry if I sound like a council worker! hehe
Good to have you back.

You're not alone and you're right, it's not about strength. Very glad you got thru it relatively unscathed.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
