My thoughts exactly, so why would someone surrender their lives for that? In The great state of FL not only do we have a stand your ground law, we have a defend your home law as well. Meaning anyone who is in your house that you did not invite, also forfeits their life/you are allowed to shoot no questions asked.

Usally bicycle cops do in the summer months and only in the down town area.. He was also wearing shorts which again I think is a poor choice for a cop in the dead of night.. I did not ask what he was doing as I was still half asleep and he bombarded me with questions.
