Wild arms is an old one but it's pretty good I think.

Dragon age and fallout gets my vote.
Also, not sure if it's the kind of thing you're looking for but the Mass Effect series has hands down the best character and party interaction of any game I've played. It's more of an experience than most games.

The first deus ex was one of my favorite rpgs, i've heard human revolution is great too
