Well, it's official. The GOP has taken the Senate.

The one silver lining is now the Teabagger base will roar and be harder to contain. Cruz may even be the new House Speaker in short order. They're going to run amok and fuck everything up like they always do. After the Republicans have fucked things up for two years, it should improve Democrat chances in 2016.

Fasten your seat belts, everyone. It's going to be a bumpy ride for the next two years.

All I know, from my depressing vantage point here in Kentucky, is that we're not a post-racial country if a deeply-unpopular turtle like Mitch McConnell can comfortably defeat their opponent basically by constantly reminding everyone that Alison Grimes is basically a marxist muslim nigger herself.
