Garden of Eden was a setup...

That is the problem. Everything should be questioned and nothing should be accepted at stated value.

Really?, send him over I have some questions I need help with.
But before you do, thank him for sending His Son to die for me.

He sent himself to die to himself.

What can I say, I'm stumped, but not one bit less a believer.

I, for one, can appreciate this. It's far too uncommon for people to admit when they're stumped. I love not knowing all the answers because it just means that I get the wonderful opportunity of being able to learn something else. If you're here and honestly willing to examine evidence and test your beliefs, I applaud you--regardless of the outcome of your beliefs.

Well that 3 days torture is nothing compared to infinite torture of people born in the "wrong country".

Once again, what about the trinity? If the trinity exists, there is no son, only another god inpersonation.

"Honestly willing to examine evidence" does not compute with his earlier statement of choosing to believe even in the face of obvious logical flaws.

Let's assume for a minute that the whole story is true. And let me concede for the moment that crucifixion was a horrendous death.

Countless people have died much worse deaths. Even some people who were crucified died a much slower, more painful death--your Bible, itself says that he somehow, amazingly died within only a few hours. Even if they sinned and Jesus didn't, wouldn't their [much worse] death have been sufficient atonement?

No because they would have had to live a sinless life for it to count as atonement.
And He died in about the span of an afternoon and that was after loosing a few pints of blood due to the scourging, thereby accelerating his death.

Yes really. Why, don't you believe me? He says he does have a son, but he never died.

Now, how do we decide who is telling the truth?
