Hugh Laurie is brilliant as the prince. Also its great because the 4th one has Hugh Laurie AND stephen fry in it. The second one is great because of Queenie and percy and just basically because its brilliant like the 3rd and 4th. I think just the 1st one isn't the same. Of course the blackadder character was totally different back then.(November 12, 2008 at 9:01 pm)EvidenceVsFaith Wrote: I've never liked absolutely fabulous really. Top 3 sitcoms are very probably, in no particular order : Bottom, Blackadder and Red Dwarf and my favourite sketch show ever is definitely ABOFAL by far.
Never watched Bottom but I have Blackadder (s2 & 4 are the best), Fawlty Towers and am collecting Red Dwarf (didn't like RD much when it went digital ... seemed to me that when they used crappy models it enhanced the show). I also love "The Vicar Of Dibley" and "Allo Allo". Like the BBC "Minister" series too and obviously (?) am a fan of "Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy" (and not the awful film version, book, radio & TV vers were great).

I haven't seen Red Dwarf Digital, I think I've seen every episode now, I've checked them all out on the red dwarf website and I don't think there is a single one I haven't seen. I'm almost certain I've seen them all now. I've seen them all on TV and I've got the first 4 series so far on DVD. Next four I want soon!
Anyway, I doubt I'd like digital as much as the original. The classics preserved classically is just better IMO.
