No idea why you are asking such a daft question, but however, Anyone cohabiting with their partner, parents or children or even housemates are fine to remain so. Nobody has ever suggested otherwise.

Assuming that the parent is infected, that would probably depend on the parents ability to care for the child.

And if hospitalized (parent or child) then probably not.

i keep hearing these news about isolation , quarantine , lock down

But nobody was telling us what to do if little kids are affected

If you're infected you'd probably need someone to take your kid.

I have 5yr old myself and we're stuck with my mother in her 70s which means we can't see his mother ATM.
Trying to keep in touch over the phone but it's tough.l
