I know this was addressed to Kevin, but I'm a rude bastard, so I'll chime in.

Seriously, who the fuck are you to tell anyone whether they are or are not an atheist? ALL that is required to qualify someone as an atheist is that they lack belief in gods, full stop. It doesn't mean eschewing anything with a religious background or connotation. I'm going to assume that you're a USian (if not, my apologies in advance). Does that mean you don't buy or sell anything? Last time I looked, US currency had the words 'In God We Trust' on it.

Do you ever use the words 'Wednesday', 'January' or 'enthusiastic'? Have you ever read a 'bulletin'? Ever make or use a 'template'? All of these words have their origins in religion.

Kindly get off your high horse and stop telling other people what THEY believe.

Have a happy Christmas, douche nozzle.

Thanks Brian, I see you're a little more feisty now that you're on this forum. I'll take that under advisement though and consider the source. (smile)

As far as I'm aware, every Buck knife sold comes with this warranty card and religious message. I've always found it a little odd. What do you think?

Here in Southern California, there is a family owned burger chain called "In and Out".

They are owned by a Christian family. Their cups and other containers have Bible verses printed on them.

They also happen to be the best burger chain there is. Double-Double, grilled onions, 'animal style' is enough to make a grown man cry.

They are also the opposite of how most Christian business owners behave (Koch brothers anyone?). They pay their employees well above minimum wage to start. Their store managers make something like 60K+ a year.

And they are in full support of increasing the minimum wage.

In other words, not the usual Christian hypocrites.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

You can't judge every Christian by a few bad ones. The good ones you seldom hear about.

Sure, cool hobby... but... can you actually use them? Thinking

Also, if you have a bronze-hilted/pommeled with a sterling silver blade: I'm in the market, man.

I'll bet you absolutely worship your "swords".
