Or to put it in a more rational way. He ensured that people had health insurance so that ill health wouldn't destroy them.

This is seen as joining with the rest of the western world.

It's still not ideal and what you really need is a tax to supply universal health coverage but you'd never get that past the republicans, who are just the political arm of businesses.

There is a reason that America spends more per head of population for less of a service than the rest of the world and that is because you are a country run by business for business and have been for decades, you can't expect one president to reverse that in two terms especially when everything has been opposed by the corporate shills that are the GOP.

Obama has achieved more good things in his terms than could reasonably have been expected of him.

But still some people don't like him for some unknown reason.

People need health care....they do not need health care insurance. Obama did nothing to provide people with health care. What he did was line the pockets of his fat cat friends in the health insurance industry by requiring everyone to purchase health care insurance.

Obama also supports the killing of millions of unborn human beings. That is another reason to hate him that has nothing to do with the color of his skin.

Not five minutes ago, you insisted that the death and destruction of thousands of innocent Afghanis was justifable because of what their government did. You're not pro-life if you're conditional about it.

Correcting - People don't need health insurance, they need a reliable public healthcare service that doesn't segregate those who can afford it and those who can't, since obviously basic human rights includes Not being left to die because of how much money you make

There is no such thing as unborn human beings.

Open a high school biology text and look up the section on the life cycle of a human being. The life cycle of a human being includes the unborn. This a fact of science and it is not in dispute.

Its true I am not absolutely prolife. There are circumstances when it is justifiable to kill another human being. The convenience of the mother is not one of them.

Thank you. You actually attempted to provide an answer. You're standing head and shoulders above the others I've asked.

That said, you seem to be grasping at straws. The GOP's foaming at the mouth hatred is based on Obama using a conservative plan for health care reform, dusted off from 20 years ago? You do realize that Obamacare is based on the plan hatched by the Heritage Foundation, endorsed by Newt Gingrich, part of the campaign platform of Bob Dole, implemented by Mitt Romney and upheld by Justice Roberts?

And can you back up any of these shrill accusations? Does Obama have financial connections to health insurance giants? By the way, they hate Obamacare but let that go. Can you prove he lied much less lied through his teeth?

Sorry to be impatient but I got used to conservatives cutting and running with me.

Democrat presidents and other politicians are commonly pro-choice. So are the majority of Americans. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Yet Clinton was never heckled during one of his SOTU addresses. No one ever advocated destroying the country if that's what it takes to stop Clinton.

But keep grasping at those straws. You'll find something eventually, I'm sure.

Conservatives never embraced a mandate. No conservative leader ever attempted to force this onto the public with lies and deciet like Obama and his democratic Stazi did.

Wow, how shrill. Can you prove lies and deceit, much less justify a comparison to the Stazi? You do realize that trying to get affordable health insurance for more people is not the same thing as becoming the East German secret police?

In any event, implementing a conservative plan is not sufficient justification for the psychotic behavior of the GOP.
