I simply told him that they were blocking the path to the stuff that belonged on the truck. I couldn't let it go and asked why they weren't praying for something more practical, like God filling the van. This thinned the heard, but the few remaining were equally dedicated to getting the truck loaded.
The fact is that this type of prayer isn't really meant to cure the afflicted. It is meant as demonstration of how devout and concerned the non-afflicted are.
It is nothing more than shameless self promotion while pretending to care.
