Well, he's clearly played other characters, or at least tries to. But even though he clearly has passion, I can never really see him disappear into a role (the way, for instance, Harrison Ford does in 42- which is great), you know what I mean? What I meant is that he has one type of character (and narrow range and style of acting) and that is the dumb stoner. It's the same reason Ashton Kutcher has always been Michael Kelso and can't get out of that archetype no matter how many movies he makes.

Ashton Kutcher, the guy who was the disastrous Charlie Sheen replacement in two and a half men?

Sadly, the very same.

Once again, I feel stupid for not trying to watch it for $0. But every time I look for full movies on YouTube, there are tons of videos by some clickbait assholes that are as long as the actual movie but only say "Click here to watch the full movie."

That video is hilarious. And I've found that generally happens to movies that have been out long enough for YouTube take them off due to copyright, and it sucks.

I found it entertaining and that is what movies are all about. I have seen better, but it was still OK. I did not think it good enough or bad enough to be worth a wall of text.

Well, it's definitely not overall as bad as The Fault in Our Stars (which I forgot to mention I made a rant on as well, probably because I had just managed to forget about this movie) or Divergent, but it has moments (particularly acting) that are worse than either and really bright spots that sort of cancel each other out in the long run. It's definitely worth knowing and analyzing, in my view, if an OK movie like this is worth the controversy and whether it's an OK movie that's just mediocre throughout or has lot of highs and lows.
