Hello
Helloim new here, so here it goes:
Im 16 and live in Sweden. I train muay thai, ride dirt bike, look at the skies with my telescope, and do homework Smile

I registered here because i thought you guys have the same view on religion like me. But i have another reason. A guy on youtube claims that he has found something secret about anti gravity and some mumbo jumbo that i dont understand. Can you guys take a look at it and see if its real?
Here is the link:

Thanks!

RE: Hello
The video redirects to YouTube and looks to be more space alien nonsense.

There is a whole list of them. Which one did you mean.

You can't post links until you've been here for 30 days and posted 30 posts! Quick, before the mods get you!

"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

Welcome young lad!

You might want to take a gander at the rules ---> The Rules

We don't allow new users to post links or videos, for spam reasons. Once you've been with us for 30 days and accrued 30 posts, then that restriction is lifted. You'll probably see a moderator snip your video soon...

But as to the video, it's a good rule of thumb that if it hasn't been reported by mainstream science, you're not likely to find breakthrough proofs on YouTube...
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

RE: Hello
Welcome, Dongerino.

Your link has been removed because of the 30/30 rule so I never saw it. However, I can apply a very simple bit of critical thinking to this: When there is a scientific or technological breakthrough, it is VERY unlikely that the first place you hear about it will be Youtube.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Now that you say it... the first news I saw of the alleged BICEP2 gravity waves in the cosmic microwave background was that video where they visit Andrej Linde and Renata Kallosh in their home to tell them the good news. Should've been suspicious from the start!

Welcome Don.
Stick around, ask around.
As far as I know, anti-gravity is way far away from us... the best we have is magnets.
