No. I played GTA San Andreas just this morning. There are certain games you probably should grow out of though...I tried to get into one of those LEGO games yesterday and did not even finish a level before I stopped playing.

Those who are about 45 represent the first generation who group up having video games right from a young age. Asking if a 45 year-old is too old for games is like asking if you're too old for cars, or TV. Why would you be? They've always been around, and they are part of who you are.

I'm playing Tomb Raider Anniversary for the first time and I plan to replay the older Tomb Raiders in the next few weeks (best adventure games ever) - The Last Revelation will take me loads of time to finish because it's such a long game. Now that I am 21 I find myself enjoying games as much as I did when I was 6-14 but I enjoy them in a different way and games that used to interest me don't interest me as much - For example I'm not a fan of GTA like I used to be but now I have developed interest for RPG games like Skyrim.

Hell, when I was a kid in HS (class of '87), my dad was a bigger video game junkie than I was and he's still into it today (nearing 80). Big Grin

Absolutely not.  People should stop at 14.

I stopped playing regularly when I hit 30.....which was a long time ago.  Just lost interest.  Every once in a while I will play something like Civilization or Skyrim but only for a short binge then I will go months or a year without playing much of anything.

I have an old computer game, perhaps the hardest computer game ever created, on my cell phone.  It is a dungeon crawler called Nethack.  I'll play it when I am waiting for something and have nothing else to do.

People should do things which makes them happy.  If playing video games brings you happiness, I am all for it regardless of your age.

You can only be too old to be young. Other than that, no. There's nothing children can do that adults can't do because they're "too old".
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?
