All-in denomination wrestling

RE: All-in denomination wrestling
Well, I detect a conflict of interest and a firing here. The count from the ref is exceedingly slow, almost like he wants to see one of those denominations get back in the ring to face the mighty Buddha.

The catholic pope can supposedly conference directly with god, but then again, so can the leader of most cults.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!

You'd think he would zap one of his followers to get in here and defend Catholicism! Has the pope lost the power in his wand?

The ref is still on 9, and his family are going hungry if he doesn't do his job soon.

Again though Buddhism older than christianity and doesn't have a fucked up book of morality and stories.
It's the obvious heavy weight champion against all abrahamic religions.
so islam can go sit down and shut up as well.

Wow, take a look at that! Islam wasn't even meant to be here, but Buddha found it slinking around trying to get into the ring and delivers an epic piledriver!

The ref is still at 9. He has one last chance to do his job before I send him home to explain why little Johnny won't eat tonight.

Come on christians! Fight for the truth! Buddha is taunting the crap out of all of you.

Fuck this, I'm throwing Mormonism back into the ring. Let's see what happens next.

Well it is quite obvious that any denomination that believes in predestiny is the one to win. As long as you are chosen you are in! So go ahead and continue being an atheist! You have ZERO input if you get into the pearly necklace...uh...I mean gates. Live life to the fullest and then when you die you get to find out what sky daddy picked for you. You have a 50-50 shot, the way I see it.

And atheism has jumped in the ring! Sadly, it makes no claims about its ability to wrestle and is caught in a bear hug by Buddha. Mormonism appears to be hiding in the corner at the moment. What's up with that? Islam is still down, but looking sneaky.

(March 7, 2015 at 2:13 pm)robvalue Wrote: So if us atheists are ever going to become christians, we need to know which denomination to choose. The problem is, there are over 40,000 now so our odds aren't good. So maybe you could all sort this out once and for all. Either:

1) People of all denominations can go to heaven so it doesn't matter much

Or

2) At least 1 denomination is wrong.

Which is it? You're allowed to confer with God, and even quote him directly if you get a reply.

Go!

They are both true. Christians of all denominations can go to heaven and all denominations don't have a completely correct understanding of biblical doctrine. The "body of Christ", which is his church, is composed of all followers of Christ. Neither Jesus nor any of the biblical writers mentioned any specific denomination. Denominations came about as people grouped together according to how they interpreted various doctrines from scripture. Looks like a draw!

They're all true and also false! 40,000 denominations leap into the ring at once and knock each other all out again. And now they're doing some sort of weird in and out dance. Buddha seems unworried and is squeezing the shit out of atheism. He should have gone before.

Islam seems to be grabbing onto Mormonism's boots, what's he have planned?
