The article mentions that 20,000 foreigners have already been recruited through social media. Most people know that an awful lot of their troops are foreign. They're not doing this for the benefit of 'rebranding their image'. They aren't selling telecommunications here. They routinely release silly videos. I was watching one the other day of their 'training regiments'. It's pure PR bullshit intended only to recruit the dummies that are evidently persuaded by this sort of self-righteous bullcrap, of which there are many. Yes gimmick same damed thing as a rebrand, just like in business, when you know you are losing the moral argument you will try anything. They know burning that guy offended even other Muslims. And yes they are praying on dumb people. But it is still an attempt to change the menu to draw people in.
