Maybe I didn't post this:
Haydn Sym 103 - period instruments and #104 for good measure.
Wow that slow start of #103 is so patient, it sounds like Wagner almost.
Frnaz Von Suppe: Light Cavalry Overture
Haydn BBC Documentary
My favorite Handel Harpsichord Suite and this young lady does a magnificent job.
I just found an outstanding version of one of my favourite pieces from the concert band repertoire, Holst's First Suite for Military Band in E-Flat Major, performed by the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra:
Great playing, great recording. I'd love to hear them perform live, or even to just sit in on one of their rehearsals.
Von Suppe - Poet and Peasant Overture
I'm working on a Black Mirror Series 3 retrospective. Did you know "Heaven is a Place on Earth" is based on a melody by Bach?
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
