Kitty, I'm pretty sure someone else said it first. In any case - get ready for a whole lot more clowns to emerge.

I seem to recall saying last year that the sensible thing the Republican party could do would be a move to the center - but they won't. They'll double down on batshit crazy before they'll do that.

Mind you, I'm not likely to like whomever the Democrats end up nominating either, but at least they're likely to be sane, and won't be entirely hostile to reality.

Fear not. He will be kneecapped early in the primaries, because he doesn't know how to shut up, nor how to speak to people.

Exactly. As the Republicans chase to the right, it will keep their Loard-loving hands away from any red buttons or briefcases with handcuffs, because people who use more than about 3% of their brains will be repulsed.

All that will do is assure four more years of conservatard shitheads screaming about how we need a "real conservatard" on the ticket and not some "moderate." No. Let them have one of the real fucking crazies get the nod. If the country is stupid enough to elect him then we will deserve every fucking thing we get.

But until the nutty right is utterly crushed and cannot make excuses they will simply continue this line of horseshit about we need a real "conservatard."

Ah, yes. Cries of "Republican in name only" are music to my ears.

I would couch this by saying they're more likely to display qualities that lead me to believe they err toward the sane side of the spectrum. :p

I think its so bizzare he is running.. Of course I would NEVER vote for him. I am curious though how many republicunts will go for this... He is Republican... Aren't they like against immigration and stuff? Its just confusing as all hell... either that or I am just ignorant and haven't read enough on him.

I saw an interview with Mitt Romney this morning, and the interviewer said that Ted Cruz has said that the reason they lost the last two presidential elections was because they weren't conservative enough.

That's right, Ted. You lost because you didn't alienate women and minority voters enough!

Their response to losing is trying to dedicate more towards their cause. isn't doing the same thing over and over, expecting to get a different result, the definition of insanity? Yet they keep going in the same direction, and dragging the democrats with them. Honestly you'd think the democrats would give up on the republican base, and just focus on minority groups and more liberal people.

You Europeans are just a bunch of sissies. If you want to see what America is all about, I recommend the film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. We will teach you a lesson, you commie pinkos who are trying to sap and impurify our precious bodily fluids.

(If you don't understand this post, you need to see the movie. It will really give you an understanding of American thinking. Sweet dreams!)

^THIS!^

I voted for Obama, but in retrospect I almost wish McCain had won. Those bastards gave us eight years of Bush and his pals fucking up everything in sight. We should have let them have four to eight more years, so they would have had no one else to blame for the multiple messes they made. They would have had to own it, and that would have been the end of them.
