Funny you mention NASA.  Money spent there has resulted in a myriad of breakthroughs, from materials, to food/water transportation, to insulation, to new medical tech (including our modern MRI and CT scanners), to modern meteorology, to a better understanding of our planet and its place in the universe, etc.

Money far better spent than the impending fight idiotic Christers will have on their hands once this state book BS gets to court.

I figured you didn't care about starving people, if you will notice I stated that in my post.

GC

You're a gibbering idiot.  I presented a very brief and incomplete list of some of the things NASA has done for humanity on the whole, including innovations in food/water transportation, but in a more general sense keeping people fed, warm, and healthy, and you pull that shit?

Really?

Go fuck yourself you chode-gobbling, brain dead drop of cum your mother should've swallowed.  You're the one gleefully cheering on this blatant disregard for our Constitution like the good little seal you are, arf arfing whenever anyone does something for Team Christ, even if it's a clear violation of the basic principles of our society.  It's people like you and those you cheer on that have directly led to the US stagnating in its own ignorance and laziness.  Gleefully trying to remove actual science from our schools while our infrastructure crumbles and our planet goes to shit.  People like you who would rather have your representatives sneak religion into government rather than use that government to help people.  People like you who would rather wage decades of war blowing up brown people on the other side of the globe because some ignorant, war mongering fuckwit in Israel tells you to than spend that money on education and innovation.

You know that life straw, the filter that allows poor people in developing countries to drink polluted water, and the "straw" cleans it?  Guess where that technology came from.

Technology improves the lives of people, even in developing countries.  Religion does not (usually makes it worse, actually).  Go figure.

You know how cheaply we could drill wells so those people do not have to use the straws, we could help supply then with abundantly clean water. Ask yourself this, would you rather drink clean water from a glass cleaned by that water, or stick a straw in crap filled stinking that would burn the hair out of your nose and wonder is this thing still working.

You are quite a short sighted individual, if the United States had put the money spent on the space program into feeding the hungry the hunger issue would have been solved and no one would suffer from hunger, but then I guess you would rather have the technology that's come from it instead of all people being well feed.

Or we could reduce military spending and redirect the funds from there into feeding the hungry. Or we could tax the church, you disgusting hypocrite. You claim others are short-sighted, yet you do not see the benefits brought about by stretching our skills and knowledge to the limit. You say others are childish, yet you fail to realise how laughably immature your entire belief system is.

You couldn't save yourself, so I'm sure you have no idea how to help others, you proved that in your statement of ridiculous tripe.

First of all we've seen the result of reducing a military budget, leaving our loyal soldiers to fight with poor equipment, would you want to be sent into battle underfunded.
Second tax the church and see how much of that would need to go to helping the people in need here in this country. Every penny. So you should rethink your proposal and as for my belief system, we feed many people all over the world.

I do not mind seeing those soldiers going into battle with absolutely nothing.  War is not beneficial in any sense or capacity.

I say fucking tax the churches up their fucking asses.  The churches already do not get taxed and people are still fucking starving because the church cares more about supporting itself than others.

Indeed. If they want charitable status, they should apply for it like any other business and be willing to open their books.

Clearly they don't think they would qualify, or have things to hide.

So tax the churches, they are a business. Religion is not, but people earning money off it is. Tax the fuckers. Smash them to the ground! Throw firebombs thro... Uhm, no just taxing will be fine.

Oh fuck off, you annoying, immature, delusional little twit. It's hard to believe I have the dishonor of sharing a planet, let alone a gene pool with you.
