Sure, a case could be made for that, probably that is better.

How's your math, OP?
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

I was all thinking the comma was some sort of dance. I was like, "AF Dance Partay!" Panic

Why commas are important:
They can be life saving

OP [use a comma after the name of a person you are addressing],

I'm not sure if you really want the rules, which I think you are really just trying to excuse yourself from [set off parenthetical asides with commas], but the rules really aren't all that hard.  But if you are writing on a forum like this one [use a comma after a conditional phrase)], I don't think your comma usage matters all that much.  Proper usage is helpful when you are, making a formal argument, writing a formal paper, writing to your Aunt May, writing a business letter, or writing to snarky people like me [use a comma between items in a series].   Educated, intellectual, uppity, grammarians [separate lists of adjectives which have a unified meaning with commas]  do care about commas, little basement-dwelling posters [but don't separate unrelated adjectives]  might not.

There shouldn't be a comma here

RE: Help me do the comma
I'm going to secretly follow this thread, and reap the benefits of Goon's bravery. Muahahaa, aaa,

I just fucking throw commas around like they're free. Then there are semi-colons, colons, and the word "however". Fuck them. I'll restructure a whole paragraph to avoid ";however," or ",however;" however that's supposed to go.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Hi OP,

Above is an example of when a comma is optional: following a conjunction (in this case, "and,"), there's no necessity for a comma however many people add one when they want to emphasise the subsequent 'subordinate clause' (the bit in between the commas). This is a use of The Oxford Comma, named after the Oxford University Press, which was used in two ways:

1. before the word 'and' at the end of a list
2. after a conjunction, for emphasis (to make it read like you would vocalise emphasis)

Hope that's clear.

Ben Davis,
do I have to do both 1.) and 2.) in order to be consistent? In my above sentence, putting them before and after the "and" as in
"has a nice flow to it, and, more importantly, that ..."
looks excessive to me
