Red Dwarf to return...

RE: Red Dwarf to return...
I adore the first 6 series. Series 7+ are probably less enjoyable due to no Rob Grant. Series 1 and 5 are probably my absolute faves. Rimmer is my fave character and Lister and Rimmer clash and occasionally harmonise in such awesome ways. Awesome plots drama and humour. Fucking awesome. Series 1 is a masterpiece. <3 Red Dwarf.

Series 7 and BTE suffered by not being filmed in front of an audience. Series 8, as I mentioned, just didn't get the balance right. And we all know Red Dwarf is full of plot holes - but seriously the Cat, Kochanski, Kryten, and Holly being sentenced for accessing the crew's confidential files made no sense whatsoever - only Lister and Rimmer were guilty of that charge... I hope this time they bring back Holly and explain what happened to the rest of the Crew that left of the Blue Midgets and Starbugs in Series 8; not to mention the convicts that had been left aboard with the gang and had crossed into the mirror universe.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

I can compartmentalize so well it's probably too well for my own good. When it suits me the series ends series 6, or 7, or 8 or it hasn't ended yet.

For me, the big shark-jumping came when Rimmer left to become an alternate version of himself. But even after it, it had its good moments:

Chris Barrie was amazing in Series 8. He was the best part of the whole series. And it goes to show that the show should be taken back to its roots which is the relationship between Rimmer and Lister.
