Only a few hours to go. Time for your predictions!

I made a thread a while back and I was backing Pacquiao. I've flip flopped and now I'm saying Mayweather will win.

8th round TKO to make it 48-0.

So what do the other boxing fans here think? Whoever predicts correctly gets a prize  Wink

I feel Pacquiao's chances are quite slim. As much as I hate Mayweather's ego and cockiness, I definitely have to go with him here.

Mayweather by unanimous decision. Then he'll retire, and come back after he's spent $100,000,000 in a year.  Rolleyes

I dunno, I think the people writing off Pacman are a little nuts, the guy is a fucking machine. I really think this fight is 50/50.

The only way Floyd is going to get a decision is if he controls the pace, or those 3 Nevada judges hand it to him on a silver platter. Otherwise I can't see how Manny's work rate and combinations wouldn't sway the judges.

On the other hand, I think either fighter could knock the other out. Manny could end up completely dominating, if the same Pacquiao as fought De La Hoya turns up, I think he'll put on a boxing masterclass. But it's just whether he does.

At the same time, in his recent fights he's not exactly been hard to hit, and Floyd is the best ever at laying traps and making people pay for mistakes. It's for that reason I favour him, and I can see him landing a single clean counter punch and it being over in a flash.

Made Pac look ordinary to be fair. Gotta say, he is one of the best ever. He's the ultimate boxer in many ways, he can hit you whenever he likes, but it's near impossible for you to hit him. That's what boxing's all about. I think he should be given the credit he deserves, people can go on and say he's boring, but they don't appreciate just how good he is. I knew from the first round. Floyd's one-punch speed is fucking insane.

Manny didn't seem to turn up though. I blame Roach really, he'd been hammering it in for Manny to fight a more cautious fight. To me, he didn't put nearly enough pressure on to even cause Floyd to break a sweat.
