Yep, but it's not that big. About 8" in diameter.

My roommate got that same price quoited for perhaps a smaller tattoo but only black ink. He wanted a simple verse of the Bible on his right shoulder. Then again, that was in Georgetown, Washington D.C., a place not known for being on the inexpensive side....unknowingly had a dinner that cost me 125 dollars.

Been there. Had a gf in college that went to American University. Ate at one of the Georgetown restaurants that didn't have prices on the menu. I thought, $150 for two people on the outside, a stretch but I was trying to impress.
Had to break out the credit card. Two dinners, four glasses of wine, and a shared dessert. $270. Without tip. One of the only times in my life I've ever tipped less than 20%. Couldn't afford it!
Never did that shit again. She wasn't impressed with the amount of flop sweat that came with the credit card. We joked about that after I recovered.

The key to Georgetown was happy hour and eating small appetizers. You had a nice time and it didn't make you want to cry when you saw the bill.
He actually went to American as well, which I never even visited. I saw it from the road and it looked very much modernist concrete.

To me though the Maltese cross is more of a national symbol and a cultural thing rather than a strictly "religious" icon. Sure it's linked, but there's more to it than religion to me. That's just me though.
I wouldn't get any religious tattoos I don't think. Back when I was in my weird "half Catholic, half Pagan" phase I considered a tribal-style cross, I still think it would look cool but it would mean nothing to me now.

I red shirted for football at NAPS in Newport, RI. It was the perfect buffer year. It is the best route for prior enlisted guys, too. It's good to be able to get used to balancing military, athletics/extracurriculars, and a ridiculous course load. 23 credit hours spring semester my junior year. Aeronautical Engineering.
