Vegemite and Marmite

Vegemite and Marmite
Well I got my mites. They came in Fedex today. First thing I did was make a Vegemite sandwich. It's not bad. It is weird but I like weird things. I can't wait to cook with it. [Image: 61413c3d506e9ca6b59daec8a3035afc.jpg][Image: 1e2f150fa75f61846ec7a1e69a264064.jpg]

As to which one is better, I think they are both good. The Marmite is much stronger and has an oniony taste but I like it.

Consider, for a moment, if anuses secreted poison. Imagine what that would taste like. You now know what Marmite tastes like.

Now imagine a cake filled with explosives; dangerous yet delicious. This is Vegemite, and properly prepared, it will taste amazing.

Put some on toast, then grill some of those Kraft cheese slices over the top of that. Best breakfast food there is. Tongue

Not sure about that, Esq. I'm from Hawaii, and we are extremely fond of Spam and eggs. Don't knock it 'til you try it. Big Grin

As for marmite...I know you're supposed to either love it or hate it, a fact that is deeply ingrained in British culture, but I...think it's ok. Not bad. Not great. Just alright. Does that make me wierd? I'm ok with being wierd, just want it clarified.

I don't think I know anybody here who doesn't keep vegemite.
It's like sugar and flour in the cupboard.
Everyone's got it.
Definitely the way you're brought up though it's tastes like it's 80% salt.
No God, No fear.

Really.

It is real.

Japanese Kuro processed cheese.  Colored with bamboo smoke.
