Typing a post from an iPad is now hell

Since migrating to the new platform, it has become pure torture to type an answer to many post or thread.   If the answer is more than a few lines long, it takes the iPad Air takes up to one second to respond to each key stroke.   This does not happen with every post, but it NEVER happens with the old platform, and IT NEVER HAPPENS with any other forum or website.  What is wrong with the new forum engine???

Chuck, you can switch to the old source editor using the last button in the toolbar (the one that looks like a page).

That should perform better for you.  If I'm not mistaken, there's a UserCP setting to make that the default.
