It seems he heard the weather report

Parts of the area have received more than 1-1/2 feet of rain since May 1, six times what he area typically receives in all of May, Accuweather.com said.

The governor’s office said the severe weather could continue through the week.

Man, we got the shit beat out of us at the nature preserve. I'll put up some pics in my "Office" thread.

I still have to go in to work every day, splitting my time between repairing trails, and making sure dumbfucks trying to trespass don't get killed in what is currently a pretty dangerous environment -- a box canyon fed by a waterfall and storms feeding the creek. A recipe for a flash flood, and still the folks want to know why they cannot simply "go down and take a look".
