I cannot find anything toward which is worthy of posting.
It's not a 'general decline', it's simply your perception of the content. I've been a member for 5 years and a viewer for nearly 2 years prior to that. In that time, I've seen any number of repeated themes. I've even participated in the theme of this thread twice before. Here are some things to remember which may/may not change your perception:
- new members/viewers join all the time so what's 'old' to you will be new to many. New members may provide refreshing perspectives that rekindle your interest (e.g. I remember a time pre-Esquilax).
- what's 'worthy' is completely subjective: other members/viewers may see more worth in recent posts than older ones
- content in the future may be more 'worthy' to you
- your relationship with other forum members will have an impact in what you find 'worthy': if you want to renew you interest, it may be worth getting in to discussions with new people
- you may simply have reached the end of your 'honeymoon period'
So if you find your interest waning, don't blame the site for 'not having good enough content', just accept that your interest
is waning. If you want to do something about it, do it. If not, sometimes even doing nothing is enough as things will change whether you participate in that change or not.
