I suck at maths and therefore am completely ignorant as to the differance between a natural number and a real number.
Short explaination?

Natural numbers are all the positive integers (i.e. whole numbers) starting from 0, so: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4,...
Real numbers are any point on the infinitely long number line (-∞ to +∞). So they include the natural numbers, but also pretty much every other number . This isn't *every* number in the strictest sense of the term, since imaginary numbers cannot be placed on the number line, and neither can complex numbers (since they include an imaginary part).
Neat.
Thanks. I'm guessing real numbers would be like 1.2474? Something like that? Imaginary numbers? Complex numbers? I know, I sound like a fuckin' 5 year old when it comes to math. If it's a simple explaination, please do. If it's a complicated answer (my I.Q. is only 154.5, so not quite as smart as you) I'll understand a reluctance to explain it as this isn't a math classroom.
