That does sound crazy. If God were in control of your life, then you would not be responsible for anything. It would all be on God. If you murder or steal, it is God's fault, because God is in control of your life.
Curiously, though, if one reasons it through like that, religionists typically do not accept what follows from their claims. (There are Christians who also say the same sorts of crazy things.)
I tried to debate a religion person regarding what you said, If i committed a crime for instance. Was that God's intended plan? they often reply back with NO!. That is is the act of Satan. I respond: Really, God also command people to kill and steal, this what he says in the Bible & Quran.

That kind of shit scares me. We had George W Bush "praying" on decisions about Iraq. A world leader telling the people on national TV that he will make decisions of war and peace based upon his telepathic conversations with the master of the universe. And people voted him in for a second term.
