I'd agree. But then I'm talking religions abused for power, and not religion as it actually is. To me it's a beautiful thing that because of it's beauty attracts the opposite who rape it for all it's worth. Such is life.

If I were to come across such a world, I would prepare such defenses against enemy attackers, such that it would stay a world knowing no wars

Photon cannons are detectors. Building dark templars might be beneficial though. A world that knows no wars would not expect a base to have invisible units that can attack, thus they may not have science vessels, observers, or bring along overlords.

But casting psionic storm at any position will kill the cloakers underneath it.

So does commanding an infested terran to explode or a lurker to attack a friendly in.

Also, i would try to keep as many of the defenses for the world beyond their knowledge, but still within the minds of the current overseers of said world
