Except that you explicitly equated culpability and moral responsibility. That means that moral responsibility, that is to say the morality, of an act is not objective.
I was referring to the individual person's moral responsibility. The act itself does not have "responsibility." That is something the person holds.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

And even if that wasn't the case, Mary was barely a teenager. She could not give informed consent.

While we do not know her exact age, she was old enough to give consent to being engaged. And she was engaged to Joseph at that time.

*Cough*moral subjectivity*cough*

Women were married much much earlier than now, as teenagers. Joseph was 30. She was 12-14.

Do you think that's ok?

Again, and as before..... when you describe your objective morality and your subjective culpability..I agree..and remind you that -I- call that "subjective morality".
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Yes, that is ok.

I never claimed that age of consent is an objectively moral thing.

By the way, Neim, I just wanted to say that I will respond to your message at a later time so that I can give it the attention it deserves.

At the moment I am about to head out and get some stuff done.

Boy, all of the things you -do- have an "objective" moral position regarding....and that's just not one of them. Theft is bad, objectively. Fucking a child...meh, up to the individual.

-Of course- you get the peedo priests.

Are you....serious this time?

Oh my god. Are you really saying that from your standpoint fucking a 12yo is ok?

It was a different time, Vic. You have to understand. And Jesus never said it was okay, so we don't know whether he was against child rape or not. The safe bet is to just assume that Jesus thought that marrying a 13 year old was bad but didn't want to upset the people of that time who loved them some young girls.

But of course now we know what Jesus really thought about arranged marriage, bride price, and child rape. And we get that from really studying the Bible down deep. Objectively, God knew it was always bad, but just neglected to make it clear until about 80 years ago. In the western world only.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

It's really enough to inspire that response. The level of blindness that you have to envelop yourself with to see the MASSIVE difference in the world that Jesus would have lived in and what we live in now and claim that a Galilean Hebrew would have had the same grasp on morality as we do is just astronomic.

But then you're also claiming that Jesus is God and a ghoul and they're the same thing but also separate in some way but we can't understand it so don't worry about it. So I guess you just live with a certain base level of cognitive dissonance.
