LISTEN, CHRISTIANS!

RE: LISTEN, CHRISTIANS!
Randy, worried about looking stupid, proceeds then to make a statement that won't even register on the irony meter making him look stupid.

Imma borrow a page out of Drippy's playbook:

ROFLOL
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

WHOA, PEOPLE. DID I SAY THAT ALL ATHEISTS ARE MAD AT GOD?  [Image: no.gif]

I said "some".

(Careful...you don't want to "protest too much". Just kidding.)

How would "proving it" by offering posts to evaluate not be the same as "naming names" which I said I would not do?

Let me ask this of you instead: In the course of your travels IRL or on the web, have you never met anyone who was angry at God - and made all sorts of atheist arguments against Him?

"Well, no TRUE atheist would be angry at God, because we know don't believe God doesn't even exists."

Fixed that for you, Strawman Master.

Some are. Big time. [Image: sad_yes.gif]

More accurately, some people are very angry at organized religion, some religions, some religious authority figures, some religious politicians, or some theists right here on this site. Angel   And some of us think that it's a good thing various gods don't exist, because as portrayed by scripture they are spoiled tyrannical brats.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Just drop it, Randy. You don't have to be the center of attention.

Your version was better, and I have modified my own post to reflect your suggestion.

I AM committed to arguing with a fair representation of your beliefs.

I hate god the character.  I hate what real people do in its name.  But, I don't think it actually exists outside of the bible.

You're giving Randy too much credit.  I don't think he understands much of anything.

Wasn't it Gandhi who said, "It's not your Christ I dislike, it's your Christians."?

Many internet Christians would spare themselves much invective if they would disagree more agreeably.
