So far, we have found 2000 extra-solar planets just in out galactic neighborhood. Stars with planets seem to the default, not the exception.

A terrestial planet, almost the exact same size as earth, in the habital zone.
Keep in mind 100 billion galaxy is only in the volume of space bounded by our own observable horizon, which is in turn governed by such abilities as we have yet contrived within the subset laws of physics we've grasped.
The entire universe extends an unknown distance beyond our observable horizon, and may well have many orders of magnitude more galaxies on total than what is within our observable horizon. If even a small fraction of the civilizations in the parts of universe we can't observe as of yet has somehow developed the capability to overcome the horizon limit which currently governs our ability to map the universe, then there may well be many more than 100 billion galaxy's worth of potential alien influence that intersects our earth.
