What are you tired of?

College.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

Ha! We're in the same boat. Doing what needs to be done and trying to do it well, while others are standing around like they're at a goddamned cocktail party. Plus, I have the added treat of working with a few ridiculously stupid holy-rollers. These hyper-religious assholes not only feel the need to inject mindless religious nonsense into almost every single aspect of the work day, but they are visibly upset if you don't validate their bullshit with the appropriate response.  These people are lazy, presumptive, and obnoxious as hell.
Thanks for the posts and the opportunity to vent! I probably needed that. Smile

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I'm tired of disappointment.
I'm tired of being let down by people who make promises and fail to keep them.
I'm tired of being tired.
I'm tired of the disrespect I get.

Okay.. so that's it.

Wiki Wrote:Poe's Law is an internet adage which states that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, parodies of extremism are indistinguishable from sincere expressions of extremism.[1][2] Poe's Law implies that parody will often be mistaken for sincere belief, and sincere beliefs for parody.[3]

That PiousPaladin was a Poe.

Never knew him. Thanks!

Huh. Weren't you here when she started the "Ask a Traditional Catholic" thread, pissed everyone off, outed herself as a Poe and a sockpuppet, and got herself banned? I swear you participated in her thread and she participated in your "Why Be Good?" thread...

We still don't know which member she was a sock of.

Oh, it was that person? I saw the thread, read the first page and when I saw that she was from SSPX I stopped reading lol. I did not participate in her thread, and don't remember any SSPX person participating on my why be good thread.

What's a sock?

Not I.

The only religious Poe I ever created was on another message board long since defunct.  And that Poe was called the Sinister Minister and everyone knew it was me.
