If this has been posted my apologies.
Most Christians pay less attention to these characters than atheist do, we see through them for what they are, atheist however want to use such nonsense as main line Christianity because they know they can't use the solid Christian denominations to argue against.

You are aware that prosperity gospel preachers are the most popular, right? Osteen, Creflo, et al. make
millions every year off of thousands-to-millions of suckers that think salvation can be found in a book (snicker), DVD, water bottle, and other merchandise. Those megachurches aren't filled by actors.
Not only do they represent modern Christianity, they're basically the non-Catholic spokespeople for it. They make the rounds in popular media all the time. Osteen has been on the Today Show several times in the past year. I'm sure other big name pastors have done the early morning talk show circuit, among other appearances, too. You can dismiss them as being a minor offshoot just because you don't agree with them. Their social presence demonstrates otherwise.

They are a small part of the Christian world, we have several mega churches here and put together they are only a small percentage of the Christians here and they are all regular Christian type churches. Many of those huge churches have their own TV programs and none of them preach money. Many of those megachurches have actors as leaders and if the people who sit in the pews or in front of a TV by into this stuff, they are being fooled because they do not dig into the Bible and find the truth. Their laziness separates them from their money.

Like I said above they are the few compared to the 100,000,000 or so Christians in the U.S., they represent nothing that's close to Christianity, they use the name Christian as their sales pitch to those who want eternal life without the commitment. Thus these people are separated from their money that could have gone to God's good work.

Their social presence demonstrates that the old snake oil sales man will stay in business throughout the ages, as long as there are gullible, lazy people in the world they will succeed at their trade. These people are not found in Christianity alone, the stock markets full of them also. Bernie proved that.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
