Headless chook hypothesis!

Guys...
When I was a young kid, mum used to chop the chook's head off in the back yard.
I'd watch the chook go running around the backyard for about 15-20 seconds. I'd actually chase it to try to catch it!
You know what's weird, sometimes the chook would hang a left or a right to evade me! True!
How on earth can the chock even run, when the organ which sends the instructions for movement comes from the brain?!
(Which happens to be 20 feet away!)
Alas!
I think I've worked out what's going on!
The head on the chook can see the body running. (obviously with a mild case of "feeling beside itself")
It controls the body's movements like in "AVATAR" to avoid being caught by me.
Eventually, the headless chook get's tired of losing the sight of its head and gets depressed and just dies!
Now, I'm going to submit this for a Nobel prize guys.
This scenario is my own and what I "personally" believe, so please do not make fun of my beliefs as I WILL take them personally!
All contructive criticism welcome.
