Not really. I'm not very strong. And I don't have a good shot at giving birth in first place hence the argument over adoption. I have a lot of inherited issues with reproduction. Something to do with my moms great grandparents being half siblings from an affair. Which is wear we get the Irish blood, I think.

That surprises me.  I thought for a minute there you were going to say they were from New Hampshire.

Not that I know of. Moms family is Creole and Irish, Lawrence's family is Cubano and Dutch

Frankly furry kids are plenty for me. Maybe I'm a little bit budhist since I have no nostalgia for the wheel of life as manifest in generations. Plus my childhood was good enough that I don't hanker to be one now. (Gawd knows that took long enough.) Still there is something endearing about young people; too bad you so rarely experience that for all the hell they put you through too.

Unless you adopt, having 2 kids is still adding to the population though. Assuming they have their own kids, and those kids have kids, and they have kids, and so on.

I love fur babies too, but unfortunately they won't be able to take care of me when I'm super old and potentially a widow trying to mend my broken heart.

I think very long term lol.

(and I've been to plenty of nursing homes doing volunteer work and while I was a student nurse. very sad place with a lot of very lonely old people)

I don't think you give yourself enough credit.  You can walk into any room and talk to any body you want pretty much the way you would with your oldest friend.  You will always be able to do that.  Me too.  My brother in law says I "don't know a stranger".  That is true for you too.

A difference might be that I savor and must have a certain amount of solitude too. How about you?

What you cannot imagine is not necessarily what you are incapable of handling.  

Do not imagine.  Rather, let your life flow as it will.   Be happy in every moment of it as it unfolds for you.

Now you're coming off as a control freak.  

Heck you have "God will provide" on your side.  Me, I'm just really comfortable with uncertainty.  Besides everything is uncertain and to think otherwise is almost always a trap.

If I can't conceive, my plan b is to befriend a young stranger who will take me into her home with her family and take care of me lol.
