AF.org Fantasy Football League 2015

Yes of course, this way however, I don't have to cheer for an opposing player....
Ah. Number one rule of fantasy football is that you always root for your team before your fantasy players when there is a conflict.
Only exception: it is okay to be apathetic in the case of garbage time points.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

It will be this coming Saturday early afternoon. If you can make it, great, if not, set your autopick order, and the league software will draft for you. I'll be at a Red Sox game. Can you briefly explain how the autopick ordering works, e.g. if we want a QB as first pick, do we put all the QBs we want first, or will that risk us getting multiple QBs and losing out on other positions? No, the autopick has a needed position algorithm in there. If you want a QB first, you will want the first 10 positions to be a QB to guarantee that it will pick a QB first. It will use the algorithm from there, but it will probably pick another QB sooner than you want. At the end of the draft, though, you will have all of the required positions. It will not draft more than two QBs. It's a toss up as to whether it drafts 5 RBs or 5 WRs, but even then it will get the better option. My advice is to create tiers. So these 3 QB's I want more than the top RBs, so I'll place them at the top. If I get one of them, then the RBs will be tiered after that. (Protip: Tommy B will be available in the 3rd round or later, probably much later due to the suspension. RB/WR is much more valuable)

Here's how to edit your rankings, if you didn't know:
First, when you log into the league, click on "Draft" in the toolbar, then "Pre-Draft Rankings." Next, click on "Edit My Pre-Draft Player Rankings" if you want to change from the default AP Power Rankings setting. Then, you can manipulate the list, moving players up or down the list. You can also highlight players to NOT draft, (injury prone, bad experiences with in the past, blind seething hatred.) You can also highlight preferred players, essentially telling the algorithm that if there are less than 10 players in the Best Player Available list to draft that player out of order to make sure you get him.

So.. I'm not in.
Too much doohiddly stuff. I'd rather just say BRONCOS all season. Prepare thyselves.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
So when exactly is the draft?
We're going for this weekend, trying to nail down a time that works for the most people. I guess I should start taking suggestions...
