Poll: Is being silly, making jokes, and otherwise being 'happy' a good thing for this forum in your opinion?
This poll is closed.
It is very good. It attracts new members, retains old ones, and makes this place feel worth coming to.

It's moderately good. It can be a nice breather from the debates, though should be toned down some perhaps.

Things could be worse of course Tongue But then they can always be worse, so that isn't much of a comfort Tongue

It could be a lot easier and still be a challenge though. Smile

Edit: finished, posting allowed you rule-breakers ^_^
Good grief Saerules, your humour is part of what makes you appreciated and valued by others. As long as its legal, feel free to express yourself, we only live once so be happy and free in that knowledge instead of worrying or doubting every precious minute of it away.

The atheist forums were undoubtedly created with the intention to liberate your mind and expand your unique expression of free-thinking, not confine it like a bloody sermon at church!

True, but I thought it was a little egotistical to make it all about me, so I made it about silliness in general Tongue The stats look like I think they should Tongue

Sorry I'm a little late on the response. I would have chosen 2 if it didn't have the tone it down part.. hence I chose the first. You should rarely, if ever, (especially on an internet forum) stifle such positivity and siliness. A break from deep discussion is frequently welcome, IMO.

But not always? Smile IOW: when someone is mourning their dead mother... that would not be the time to be silly? ^_<

yes exactly tact has it's merits as well, but you definitely don't have a problem with that, IMO.
