What does creationism have to do with evolution? Evolution does not explain how life came into existence.

What does creationism have to do with evolution? Evolution does not explain how life came into existence.
If you take the account of genesis literally, it says that god made all animals instantaneously, no evolution required. I really meant young earth creationists, but I thought that that would be obvious.
