There's just a group of movies that I can always watch and I can't pick the top three.

Shawshank, The Departed, There Will Be Blood, Gangs of New York, No Country for Old Men, The Dark Knight, Goodfellas, Tombstone, American Hustle (its getting there), Silver Linings Playbook, The Wolf of Wallstreet, Labyrinth Big Grin, True Grit, The Range and yes the Marvel universe.

Awww yeah!

Same...

Not that ashamed, though. I have an aversion to movies about mafia...

I think the most amazing thing about that movie is the story behind the production and how everyone involved thought it was going to be a flop.

Great movie, though, but I recommend the book, also.

Do all Mariachi Trilogy films feature Antonio Banderas? If so, I may have to check them out.
Btw, True Romance is not a chick flick...it's a ultra-violent Tarantino flick (in case you didn't know). I think you'd like it.
What's this Curly Sue movie you're talking about? Sounds entirely too whimsical and adorable for grown woman such as myself!

No, Antonio isn't in the first one; titled El Mariachi. There wasn't anyone famous in it, but the lead guy who played the mariachi made a cameo as the dude with the machine gun guitar cases in Desperado. It was notable for the fact that Robert Rodriguez made it with $5,000 and its damn good. So good that Hollywood gave him $5million to remake it, which sort of became a spiritual sequel in the same way Once Upon a Time in Mexico is to Desperado.

The DVDs, if you can find them, have the best DVD extras I've ever seen, where Robert includes a little film school. He shows how he made the first movie for $5,000 and the second for $5,000,000. It cemented my belief that creativity needs boundaries.

Also, I can't believe it took us so long to mention Quentin T. haha
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue
