Some movies can surprise you.
Some movies can make you sad.
Some movies can make you happy.

Forrest Gump was one of those movies that could make me happy,for what reasons i'm not sure.But i really enjoyed it for making me happy.It was fun to see him join the army and meet his long lost love hehe Big Grin I could relate with him when he ran a marathon because he felt like it.I do stuff like that too,i sometimes go to beach at night alone and just sit there and look at the beach because i felt like it,i sometimes stand up because i felt like it,it's wierd people think there should always be a reason.It was also a hilarious movie.C'mon tell me you didn't crack up when he thought he invested in some sort of fruit.
All in all,although retarded it was a funny movie and had a lot of meaningful thoughts in its meaningless.I've never seen a movie like Forrest Gump,it is as unique as it gets! ^.^

The best parts of Forrest Gump are his childhood, Vietnam, and the love story with Jenny.  I won't lie: his "I might not be a smart man, but I know what love is" line gets me every time.  Same with him breaking down at her grave at the end, thankful that his son doesn't have the same mental deficiencies he does.  That stuff is great.

Everything else is just dumb.  Kind of fun in a "What if?" sense, but utterly unbelievable.  The worst was him inadvertently inventing the yellow smiley face.

Awesome soundtrack, though.
